WW1 German Imperial 1st Guard Field Artillery Regiment Reservists Beer Stein

  
An absolutely fantastic Reservist Mugge (stein) ceramic and pewter, Imperial German regimental beer stein. To a soldier in the 2nd Battery, 1st Guard Field Artillery Regiment, Berlin. Exquisitely hand painted military scenes, geometric patterns and with the bust of Kaiser Wilhelm. A reservist roll-call is applied behind the handle, so this tankard belonging to one of those artillerymen. The lid is of pewter, again decorated in artillery and military scenes. The dome featuring a artillery shell fuse head. Atop is a cannon and crew, with horse and officer sculpture on the handle, that flips the lid. Inside, the stein is clean and damage free, in fact damage free all over. Stands 33cm x 111cm diameter at base.
