Vintage German Pottery Beer Stein by Reinhold Hanke circa 1938. This Stein is #1255 Etched Playing Cards in the Hanke Stein Catalog found on Beerstein dot net website. This is the Full Color variety of this design and the colors are nice and bright. The inside of the stein has multiple dark blue dots around the inside bottom edge, some of which has possibly bled through to bottom and outer bottom under the first queen. There is some crazing to the luster finish above the same queen.

I have included close ups of these areas. There are no chips, cracks or damage. Marked as a 0.5L Stein and on the bottom with the model #1255. This is a vintage item.
