German ceramic, character, 1/2 L, figural owl head lid. Condition and Description: Overall in very good condition. The body is mint, but the figural owl head has a small chip and line (as shown) which are fortunately at the back near thumblift so the stein displays really well!

As with many cultures, in Germany the owl is symbolic of wisdom/knowledge... Height: 7.75 tall from base to top of figural owl head. Width: 3.6 at the base.
