The Mettlach stein offered is a 1 L capacity with a height of 9 3/4 to the top of the thumblift. The mold number is 1526 and there is no decoration number. There is what appears to be a shop name under the base L.

The scene is of the city of Nürnberg Germany. This stein has a pewter lid with the name Haver Maier engraved on the top. There is a factory firing line on the base of the stein.

The reason it is called this is from the curved glazed edge to the imperfection. This can be seen when turning the stein viewing the reflections curved edge. Stein is still a great addition to any advanced collectors collection. Check out our other items for sale.
