German Ceramic, 1/2 L, pewter lid. This stein was designed by L. Capeller - he was active between 1903 - 1909.

Condition & Description: This Art Nouveau stein's body is mint, but the lid appears to be an early replacement. While the stein was produced by Reinhold Merkelbach, it was designed by Leopold Moritz Karl Capeller - A very curious stein with great color and presence! Height: 7.25 tall from base to top of thumblift. Width: 4.3 at widest part of body.
