Inscription translates roughly to, Old Heidelberg you fine city, rich in honors, on the Neckar and Rhine, no other can equal you! Taken from a poem honoring the city, written by Josef von Scheffel in 1853. Outstanding detail detailed city view. Would pair nicely with Mettlach 1675.
