An antique German pewter-mounted tin glazed/faience beer stein, circa 1775. Featuring hand painted polychrome florals on white ground. 9.25"h x 4.5"w x 6d (including handle). Displays multiple cracks and breaks, including substantial hairlines to the stein's body with losses and a poorly taped repair on its interior, a large break to the handle, and general surface wear, including scratches and scattered flakes to the glaze, and dulling and scratches to the pewter - see pictures.
