German Emperor Charles V Beer Stein. Made from stoneware with pewter lid. Approximately 10.25 inches tall (26 cm). Stamped on bottom with Thewalt logo and made in Germany. Manufactured for Pinnacle Peak Trading. This part number is for ONE stein. This stein depicts German Emperor Charles V. 1556 is the year in which Karl stepped down from his Emperorship and divided his heritage among son Philipp II and his brother Ferdinand I. On the stein Karl V is flanked by his knights. On left side, near the handle, his son Philipp and opposite side Karls's brother Ferdinand are shown. All three of them wear crowns.
