Couple on Horses for Falcon Hunt Limitaet LE German Stoneware Beer Stein 2 L. 2,500 piece limited edition.

Made from stoneware with pewter lid. Approximately 14 inches tall (36cm).

Stamped on bottom with Manufacturers Logo. Sculpted by an unknown Mastermodeller around the year 1895, this magnificent stein portrays an excerpt of the Parade designed and organized by the painter Hans Markart in 1879 to celebrate the Silver Wedding Anniversary of the Austrian Imperial Couple Emperor Franz Joseph I and his wife Elisabeth of Bavaria. This parade also included couples on horses dressed up for the Falcon Hunt. Manufactured for Pinnacle Peak Trading by King-Werks. King-Werks, also know as Wuerfel and Mueller, is one of the few remaining German stein companies that still produce 100% of their steins in Germany with 100% German materials and labor.
