Antique J W Remy German Beer Stein No 11049 Made in Germany. Remy was founded in the Westerwald town of Höhr by Johann Wilhelm Remy in 1864. Although it managed to survive for more than 100 years, and through two World Wars, the company finally succumbed to the pressures of slowing demand and was forced to terminate operations in 1966. This beautiful Stein is in very good condition. The Stein is approx 12 inches tall.

There is a small chip on the bottom edge. This spectacular antique stein is part of a huge (900+) and impressive collection that was amassed by a very well heeled collector in Naples Florida.
