Antique hand painted German pottery stoneware pewter lidded beer stein mug

  
Up for sale is a wonderful antique handmade. This lovely stein is sculpted with thick pottery walls and painted by hand with a very detailed figural scene done with a realistic approach. It has an ornate pewter lid that is mounted to the stein handle with a hinged thumb-piece. It's marked underneath and in good used condition. The stein measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches back to front.
