Antique German Theresienthal Brownish Green Glass Beer Stein Engraved dated 1892. Description: This beautiful antique beer stein was made of blown glass in around the late 1880s. The glass is colored in beautiful brownish-green, with the slightly curved body shape and hand-formed pedestal. The specific bottle-green/brownish color is the distinctive feature of Theresienthal factory's production. The Theresienthal factory established in 1836 in the town of Zwiesel in Bavaria.

The stein has vertical facets with oval "thumb-pressed" patterns on the inside. It creates a wonderful optical effect. The hand-formed pedestal made in vawed shape and polished on the bottom. The lid is made of pewter - a massive nicely shaped steeple lid typical for 1880 with the open type 3-ring hinge.
