Antique German Beer Stein Regensburg Style Mettlach Mold Cologne Cathedral c. Description: This antique German beer stein/pitcher was made in 1880.

This mold is the same mold we see in some Mettlach ware - specifically, some pokals and early steins see a scan from "The Mettlach Book" in pics. It show all three relief pictures that are exactly the same. The front medallion shows a woman holding the Cathedral - most likely she repersent the Holy Virgin.

Another side medallion shows a Medieval cathedral builder refreshing himself with a fresh brew after work.
