124th (6th Wurttemberg) Infantry "King Wilhelm I". Original owner's name: Musket Lehmann.

Owner's unit: 124th (6th Wurttemberg) Infantry "King Wilhelm I". Town where unit was garrisoned: Weingarten, Germany.

Lithophane is a scene of an infantryman saying goodbye to his wife or sweetheart. The name of the reservist that owned this stein, "Musket" Lehmann, appears across the center of the base as well as in the roster of 72 reservists. The term musket or musketeer was used to designate an infantryman with the rank equivalent to private in the Imperial German Army until the beginning of World War I. In the front center of the body of the stein is a shield with the monogram of Wilhelm I, King of Prussia and German Emperor who this regiment was named in honor of. Written in German underneath is "Erinnerungen Meine Dienstzeit" meaning "Memories of my service time".

Scenes on both sides are in brilliant color with u niforms and crests finished with colored enamel. Thumblift is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. There's a tiny chip just above where his name (Lehmann) is on the base. Otherwise, there are no chips or damage whatsoever.
