You are ordering this Joseph Lichtinger & Cie. 5 Liter capacity, pewter Beer Stein. Features "German Michael" repelling the French invader, Napoleon III. This victory resulted in the unification of the previously separate German states and the establishment of Germany as the dominant land power of Europe.

The stein was designed by Ferdinand Barth and "Barth, Munchen, 1871" are marked behind the handle on the body of the stein. Stein was produced by Lichtinger and his mark is on the interior base of the stein. Measures approximately: 7.5" tall to top of character lid, 4.5" base diameter, weighs just over 3 pounds empty. Marked with a 0.5L capacity mark. Some of the photos make it look lighter due to the automatic camer adjustments.
