Diesinger German Beer Stein Threaded Relief Gnome Playing #184 c. Diesinger is one of the most collectible beer stein manufacturers.

His designs are unique and hard to confuse with anything else. The central medallion of the stein is made in "threaded relief" technique, the rest of the body is made in relief featuring edelweiss flowers - one of the preferred Diesinger design elements. The threaded relief picture shows a gnome performing what seems to be praising or saluting a beer stein with a bouquet of flowers. While gnomes were the favorite Diesinger subject matter, this one is quite unusual. Adolph Diesinger beer steins are highly collectible - he was the only one among German beer stein manufacturers who created designs that could be compared with "naive art".

This stein is from "pre-DRGM" period, manufactured before 1901 when Diesinger took DRGM patent protection on his production. The stein is excellent flawless condition - a collector's dream. It is 7.5 tall to the top of the finial, 0.25L capacity. Get images that make Supersized seem small.
