Antique 1L Westerwald German pottery pewter cherub lidded beer stein mug tankard

  
Up for sale is a nice quality antique lidded Westerwald German pottery beer stein. It's made out of thick pottery walls and has a blue and white design done in high relief depicting figural cherub scenes. The stein has an ornate handle which is mounted with a hinged pewter lid along with a detailed figural thumb-piece. The lid also has a shield in high relief on the top of the lid. Stein measures 6 1/4 inches long by 6 1/2 inches tall.
