1/2 L Old Antique German Eisenbahn Regiment 1 Schoenberg-Berlin beer stein marked by Merkelbach & Wick. This is an exceedingly fine and detailed specimen, with great color and presence, body is absolutely mint! Ostermann, the stein displays a vivid depiction of Germania on the front, with two side scenes showing off different aspects of the railway and trains. The Eisenbahn were part of the Garde Korps and tasked with security and maintanence of the railways. The finial soldier appears to be an early(period) replacement.
