We have a cobalt blue salt glaze stoneware stein that was made in the early 1900s by the Gerz Company of Grenzhausen Germany. The design or mold number is 025 which is part of a series of Indian Chiefs. The stein is a 1/2 L and is 9 1/4 tall. The scene is of Chief High Bear Sioux. The lid is made from pewter and has the name F. Friederich engraved on the front edge. The stein has no chips or cracks. I think that this is a very unusual stein and makes a wonderful addition to any advanced collectors collection. Pictures are part of the description. Check out our other items for sale.
