Description: This very interesting antique object - pewter beer stein/pitcher in form of a screw-cap bottle with spout was made in late 1700s - early 1800s, it is about 200 years old. This is a very traditional drinking vessel - a type that was produced for over centuries, from mid-1600s to mid-1800s. Beautiful and very impressive beer vessel. The spout is made in form of a bird, the lid ring is formed as two serpents. The pitcher is in a very good shape - there are some minor dings and scratches but no major dents, breaks or repairs.
